Inch by Inch: The Hope Collection

On September 19th, Hope will attempt something that, not long ago, may have seemed impossible: walking 2.62 miles.

After becoming a quadriplegic, Hope adopted a simple motto during her time in the hospital: “Inch by inch, day by day.” Those words have carried her through pain, setbacks, hospital stays, mental health battles, and the countless moments when moving forward looked very different than it did the day before. Sometimes progress meant taking a few literal inches. Sometimes it meant making it from morning to night. And sometimes, it meant becoming a CrossFit Games champion.

Her 2.62-mile attempt is expected to take at least 12–14 hours, and Hope knows she may not finish. But that’s exactly why this journey means so much.

Because success isn't always crossing the finish line.

Sometimes success is having the courage to start.
